Riverland stayed close throughout the game but fell behind early, trailing 4–1 after the first five innings. The Blue Devils tried to rally in the seventh inning, scoring four runs to take a 5–4 lead at one point, but Lethbridge answered with two runs of their own to secure the win.
Offensively, Peyton Ransom led the way with two hits, while Jonathan Mora drove in two runs and Carson Gehrke added a key RBI double. Austin Swenson and Ethan Mott also contributed RBIs as Riverland pushed to stay in the game until the final out.
On the mound, Ben Zahm worked six innings, allowing four earned runs and striking out two, while Ethan Doll and Roland Figueroa each gave up a run in relief.
Riverland's seven hits were spread across the lineup, but despite their late-game surge, they couldn't overcome Lethbridge's early scoring advantage.
