The Riverland Community College men's basketball team put together a dominant all-around performance Saturday night, rolling to a 103–69 victory over Minnesota North College–Itasca on the road.
Riverland controlled the game from the opening tip, using defensive pressure and efficient scoring to build a 44–28 halftime lead. The Blue Devils continued to push the pace in the second half, adding 59 more points while showcasing depth across the roster.
Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) poured in a game-high netting 26 points (9-13 FG) & (7-9 FT). Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) 17 points (5-12 3PT), 4 rebounds & 4 assists. Freshman guard Isaiah Lindor (Miami, FL) 14 points (3-6 3PT), 5 rebounds & 3 assists. Sophomore forward Joe Poyser (Wildwood, FL) notched a double-double with 12 points , snatching 14 rebounds (7 Offensive) & 3 blocks. Freshman guard Cam Fearon (Margate, FL) 12 points (5-9 FG). Freshman center Elhadji Thiam (Dakar, Senegal) 8 points, 4 rebounds & 3 blocks. RCC won the rebounding battle by 18 & had 29 assists as a team!
