Riverland Community College put together one of its most complete performances of the season on Saturday afternoon, rolling past Minnesota North College–Vermilion 95–73 behind a dominant first half and balanced offensive attack.
The Blue Devils came out firing early, building a 51–32 halftime lead after shooting efficiently and controlling the glass.
Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) notched a double-double pouring in a game-high netting 24 points & 10 rebounds (6 Offensive). Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) 14 points (4-7 3PT). Freshman guard Isaiah Lindor (Miami, FL) 11 points, 8 rebounds & 3 assists. Sophomore forward Joe Poyser (Wildwood, FL) 11 points & 7 rebounds. Freshman center Elhadji Thiam (Dakar, Senegal) 10 points & 4 rebounds. Sophomore guard Tyson Helms (Tucson, AZ) 9 points. The Blue Devils finished the game shooting 50.0% from the field and 81.3% from the free-throw line, while outrebounding Vermilion 42–34. Riverland closed the weekend on a high note, showcasing efficiency, balance, and defensive pressure in a convincing road victory.
