Riverland Community College continued its dominant conference run Wednesday night, earning a convincing 77–58 road victory over Anoka-Ramsey Community College to remain unbeaten in league play.
Riverland set the tone early, building a 44–29 halftime lead behind efficient shooting and active defense. The Blue Devils shot 51.7 percent from the field and forced 16 turnovers, turning defensive pressure into transition opportunities throughout the night.
Sophomore guard Tyson Helms (Tucson, AZ) poured in a team high 17 points (7-11 FG). Freshman guard Isaiah Lindor (Miami, FL) notched a double-double 16 points, snatched 11 rebounds & collected 3 steals. Sophomore forward Tristan Coleman (Maywood, IL) 15 points & snatched 6 rebounds. Freshman guard Cam Fearon (Margate, FL) 8 points & 4 rebounds. Sophomore forward Joe Poyser (Wildwood, FL) 7 points, dished out 5 assists & 4 rebounds. Sophomore guard Lubab Kambalo (Sioux Falls, SD) 6 points.
Riverland controlled the paint and the glass, finishing with a 37–29 rebounding advantage.
Riverland's defense limited Anoka-Ramsey to just 40.7 percent shooting and 28.6 percent from three-point range. The Golden Rams struggled to find consistent scoring options against Riverland's pressure and length.
