Riverland Community College fell to Central Lakes College, 105–19, in a home contest on Saturday afternoon.
Central Lakes jumped out to an early lead and held a 59–8 advantage at halftime. The visitors continued to control the pace in the second half, limiting Riverland's scoring opportunities and pulling away for the final margin.
Ellasyn Carrier (Houston, MN) led Riverland with five points and six rebounds. Keeli Johnson (Houston, AK) and Najima Hassan (Mankato, MN) each added four points. Morgan Klankowski (Austin, MN) contributed 11 rebounds to lead the team on the glass.
Riverland will return to action after the new year on January 2nd when they face Northland at Central Lakes.
