At home on Friday night, Riverland Community College fell in straight sets to Minnesota West Community & Technical College (11–25, 10–25, 10–25).

The Lady Blue Devils couldn't find much rhythm offensively, finishing with 15 kills but 15 errors for a .000 hitting percentage as a team. Sophomore Brienna Brewer (Rapid City, SD) led the way with 9 kills and added 6 digs, while Brenna Grade (Wausau, WI) chipped in 4 kills. Setter Macey Johnson (Chandler, AZ) distributed 13 assists and collected 12 digs to help pace the back row. Defensively, Isis Walters (Faribault, MN) dug up 12 attacks, and the team finished with 43 digs overall.

Riverland will look to regroup and bounce back in less then twenty-four hours as they continue conference play battling Century Saturday.
